KZG TOP 100 ClubFitter

KZG Honors Two Filipinos as World’s Top 100 Club Fitters for 2009

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (March 23, 2009) - KZG, the #1 Custom ProLine™, announces that the Philippines’ very own Francis Go and Jake Ong from Custom Clubmakers International, have been honored as World's Top 100 ClubFitters for 2009. This is the 3rd successive year Francis Go has been honored and the 4th consecutive year for Jake Ong. They are the only Filipinos to have ever received this prestigious industry award. The World’s Top 100 ClubFitter distinction is designed to identify those professionals who possess superior skill, integrity, business ingenuity and passion for their profession and who offer the golfing public the very best clubfitting experience.

Custom Clubmakers has been in the clubmaking business since 1998. The company’s mission has been “To contribute to the game of golf by providing professional clubfitting, clubmaking, and club repair services at the highest standards.”

Francis and Jake are also founding members of the International Professional Association of ClubFitters (IPAC) and have helped thousands of golfers play a better game with custom fitted clubs. At this year’s 2009 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, FL they were part of the IPAC Custom Fit Center and helped golf professionals worldwide understand the vast benefits of custom fitting.

“There is no greater joy than to honor individuals like Francis and Jake who excel in their profession” remarks Jennifer King, President of KZG. “The World’s Top 100 ClubFitters are all exceptional individuals, not only in their pursuit of perfection to help every golfer to a better game, but also for their involvement in the community and in the growth of the game. Congratulations to both of them!”

This year’s honorees represent the élite of the profession and hail from 22 countries around the world. They range from small shops serving rural areas to large operations doing extensive business with multiple fitters, instructors and fitting bays. For the first time, more than half of the award recipients were outside the United States. To see a full list of all 100 recipients, please visit the media section of the KZG website (www.kzg.com).
